Fundamentals of Ceramic & Glass Firing
- Firing must be performed in a kiln with controlled temperature and timing.
- The temperature range depends on the substrate: porcelain, ceramic tile, or glass.
- Avoid sudden temperature changes — they can cause lacquer bubbling or glaze cracking.
- For stable results, follow MARKITON’s recommended firing charts and always test fire before production runs.
